The DAHAR Project is an initiative by the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Jharkhand, aimed at identifying and re-enrolling out-of-school children (OoSC) who have left the education system due to social, economic, or personal reasons.
Through this digital platform, schools conduct village-wise household surveys to track such children and ensure their re-enrolment into mainstream education — managed systematically at district, block, and school levels.
A clear, role-driven workflow ensures every household is surveyed and every out-of-school child is accounted for.
Headmaster tags villages & adds habitations (Tolas) with household counts under their jurisdiction.
Habitations & households are allocated to teachers — workload distributed across the school.
Teachers survey households door-to-door, recording children who are out of school.
District & State officers verify child records and approve requested villages for accuracy.
Identified OoSC are brought back into mainstream education through targeted drives.
Built for state and district administrators, headmasters, and teachers — with powerful tools for data integrity and monitoring.
Habitation mapping & survey analytics with block-wise progress, coverage rates and real-time key metrics.
Add, modify & manage Tolas with household allocation — increase, decrease, or reassign with full safeguards.
Delete duplicate or excess surveys, reassign households, remove wrongly-tagged habitations — with archive metadata.
Review requested villages & verify surveyed children — edit, approve or reject with remarks for full accountability.
